Elena Biedermann

 

After a phase of concentrating on fashion design and photography, Elena Biedermann has increasingly returned to her artistic roots. In her current work - coloured drawings transferred onto metallic photographic paper (Lambda prints) - she depicts mobility, fashion and a technical perspective of the future in imaginary urban spaces, where a cool psychology of the protagonists emerges. She picks up on the Pop Art elements of the 20th century, in particular the styles used by Roy Lichtenstein and Alex Varenne.
